The Friends of the Midlothian Texas Public Library chartered and became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2026.

The Friends group is an independent, distinct organization separate from the Midlothian Public Library and the City of Midlothian. This organization does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status. We are dedicated to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members.
